“Like any business relationship, the designer-client relationship cannot develop without trust, respect, and integrity.”
Chris believes that the integrity of a designer's work should be conveyed through the respect clients have for the designer's experience and the trust these clients give through the decision-making process. He encourages the client to set the agenda and then follows their lead. And he adds, “A sense of humor doesn't hurt.”
A 17-year veteran of the banking industry, Chris changed careers when he moved to Florida in 1999. As a design assistant with Peggy Oberlin, he assists with the multiple tasks necessary to complete each design job.
