Kit Mathews has brought his design vision to life. With expertise in both commercial and residential interiors of every scope and size, Kit works as principal designer to create timeless, classic interiors that clients can live in and enjoy for decades to come. Kit has helped his clients realize some of Southwest Florida 's most beautiful and distinctive interiors.

As a result of the process of planning, renovating, and furnishing a living space, a successful personal relationship is developed between the designer and the client. Kit's top priority is to listen to a client's needs and to translate them into a completed design that fulfills their dreams. The majority of Kit's clients come from referrals as clients pass his name on to their family and friends.

Kit has watched the trends in interior design evolve over the years from light pastel Florida colors, to heavier, more European, traditional jewel-tone colors. Homes are bigger, ceilings are higher, and people want a warmer feel in these spaces. Kit adds that the trend towards larger state homes in Naples creates more opportunity for wonderful environments, where clients can realize their dream setting.

From 1984 to 1999, prior to joining Agostino's Design Group, Kit and design partner John Dremann mutually owned and operated a design firm in Clearwater and Naples . Together and separately, their work has been featured in numerous local and national publications, including Foyer, Naples Illustrated, Florida Design, Florida Design Source Book, Home & Design, Gulfshore Life, and Home and Condo. In 1989, they were honored with the national “Decorators Of The Year” Award, and have twice received the “Design of Distinction” Award from Naples Illustrated magazine.
